Regional Manager Swine
As a Regional Manager Swine you will be responsible for:
─ Sales Profit created in the Swine segment within the region.
─ Driving and executing portfolio of nutritional solutions for swine within the region, and improve the commercialization thereof.
─ Translating nutritional and scientific advances and best practices into (improved) products, models and services that sustain the Trouw Nutrition application leadership;
─ Supporting the Swine Portfolio Manager and the Global Marketing Team in defining and maintaining the regional Swine portfolio of nutritional solutions (products, models, services) per focus market segment in close consultation with product, model and service managers and the business;
─ Improving the knowledge level of technical and commercial teams in the business. Providing technical and marketing support and training; “Train the Trainer”;
─ Be directly involved with large key-accounts where necessary;
─ Interfacing between local marketplace and global innovation and marketing teams;
─ Steer regional product managers in product development, formulation, boundaries and standards
In this role you will hierarchically report to the General Manager of Trouw Nutrition China and functionally to the Species Portfolio Manager within the Global Marketing team.
Profile of the ideal candidate (background)
─ Academic degree in Animal Science or related discipline. PhD will be considered as an advantage.
─ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in (related) industry
─ Strong business acumen and marketing knowledge
─ In depth understanding of the Swine industry Intercultural management skills, adaptability to work across functions and in different markets;
─ Enjoys some business traveling (30%).
─ Strong leadership skills, experience in managing cross-functional teams.
─ Understands Key-account management and value-selling
